Utility: What Can You Do With RootSeed?

RootSeed serves multiple vital functions within the Mortalis ecosystem. It is designed for active participants who want to support the game’s development and governance.

1. Generate RootCoin (by locking RootSeed) – This is the primary utility and the most powerful feature of the RootSeed token. RootSeed acts as a perpetual generator of RootCoin (RC). By locking your RootSeed tokens, you secure a continuous stream of RootCoin (RC)—the currency of the Mortalis ecosystem (like gold or silver in other games).
   • Continuous Supply: Locking RS is the only way to passively generate RC without grinding in the game. As long as your RS is locked, you receive a daily flow of RC.
   • Real-World Value Bridge: In the upcoming fully integrated marketplace, RootCoin is designed to be convertible into fiat currency (e.g., EUR, USD). This means the RC you generate has the potential for tangible real-world value, allowing active participants to monetize their support for the ecosystem.
2. Governance & Voting – RootSeed holders (at least 100 000 RS) will have a voice in the future development of the game, including voting on new features, expansions, and ecosystem parameters.
3. Exclusive Access
   • Alpha/Beta Access: Holders of significant RS amounts (at least 500 000) gain priority access to early game builds.
   • Events: Entry tickets to special in-game tournaments and events.
4. Deflationary Mechanics (Burning) – A portion of RootSeed (up to 75% of the reserve) used in the ecosystem is permanently removed from circulation (burned). This includes:
   • 1:1 RS from reserve for RS earned by mining or other activities, except purchases.
   • 1:1 RS from reserve for specific ecosystem purchases that include RS (merchandise, books, etc).

RootSeed Purchases and Wallet

All the minted tokens are kept in the wallet of Mortalis Game.

You can purchase RootSeed on our platform, after signing up in to our Survivor’s Camp. Only one account is allowed per person.

You can see all the details of your purchases and your RootSeed balance when you log into Survivor’s Camp.

We are implementing a holding period – after purchase on our platform, RootSeed is not re-sellable or transferable in any way before at least 50% of all the tradable RootSeeds are initially sold on our platform, i.e at least 150 billion RootSeeds.

After the holding period you can start trading with RootSeed inside our platform.

KYC and identification rules:

• Tier 1: Basic Verification (Transactions under 700 EUR): For occasional purchases below the statutory threshold, we apply Simplified Due Diligence (SDD).
  • Requirements: Full Name, E-mail, Residential Address.
  • Purpose: Ensures basic user identification and sanctions screening without requiring document upload.
• Tier 2: Full Verification (Transactions of 700 EUR or more): For larger transactions or cumulative purchases exceeding the threshold, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) is mandatory by law.
  • Requirements: Government-issued ID (Passport/ID Card), real-time facial verification (liveness check).
  • Purpose: Ensures full compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and prevents identity fraud.

Note: Residents of sanctioned jurisdictions (e.g., North Korea, Iran, Russia) are prohibited from participating in the token sale.

Free Daily RS Mining

You can mine RS daily by logging in to the Survivor’s Camp and visiting the mining section.

Your mining rate increases with the increasing number of new users. New users will start mining with the base rate of 10RS.

Every 1000 users = +0,1 mining rate. Max mining rate = 50RS.

You raise your mining rate, up to the maximum rate, 20% every time you mine, as long as you mine at least 10 times during the 30 day period. Failure to achieve this 10/30 will reset your mining rate to the base rate.

Keeping 10/30 mining schedule means you are an active miner.

Mining will decrease RootSeed Reserve. When 75% of the reserve is consumed, either by burning, mining or otherwise, the mining will be stopped and not possible anymore.

Important! You must complete the KYC process and verify your identity within 90 days to continue mining. If not, your account will be considered a bot and will be locked. You then have an additional 90 days to request an account unlock and complete the KYC process.

Referral Bonuses

You can increase your personal base mining rate by inviting new users. They have to be completed the KYC process and verified their identity to activate the bonus for you.

The bonus is 1 RS per referred active miner.

Engagement-Based Rewards

Users can earn RS by participating in polls, watching videos, playing web games and engaging with the game’s content.

Future opportunities will be introduced to enhance user knowledge and participation.

Locking RS

Users can lock RS to generate RootCoin (RC).

You can lock a minimum of 10% of your wallet and upgrade in 5% increments over time.

3. Development and Roadmap Risks
While the team is dedicated to delivering Mortalis: Back to the Roots, game development is complex. Unforeseen technical challenges, bugs, or resource constraints may cause delays in the roadmap or changes to game features.

4. Regulatory Uncertainty
Regulations regarding blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are evolving rapidly in the EU, USA, and globally. New laws could impact the usability, transferability, or legality of RootSeed in your jurisdiction.

5. Technology and Security Risks

• Smart Contract Risks: While we strive for security, software code may contain vulnerabilities or bugs.
• Private Key Security: You are solely responsible for the security of your digital wallet. If you lose access to your private key or seed phrase, your tokens will be permanently lost. The Mortalis team cannot recover lost tokens.

6. Liquidity Risks
There is no guarantee that an active market for trading RootSeed will develop or be sustained. You may not be able to sell or exchange your tokens instantly or at a desired price.

7. Lack of Legal Protection
